AC Texas Cooling & Heating

I had a very frustrating experience trying to get a quote for a yearly A/C maintenance plan. I called simply to ask how much your yearly A/C maintenance plan costs. I was told that pricing could not be provided over the phone and that someone would need to come to my property for a free estimate. I said, “That’s perfectly fine—let’s schedule the free estimate.” Unfortunately, after nearly 20 minutes of going back and forth, the front desk still did not seem to understand what I was requesting. I was not asking for a one-time diagnostic or repair. I was only trying to schedule the free estimate so I could receive a quote for a yearly A/C maintenance plan. This was actually my second call, and I still couldn’t get a simple appointment scheduled. The communication and listening skills at the front desk made the process far more difficult than it needed to be. This is intended as constructive feedback for the business owner. It may be helpful to provide additional training for the front desk team on communication and customer service. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I decided not to move forward with your company for my yearly A/C maintenance.

The HVAC service was smooth from start to finish. They quickly identified the issue explained what needed to be done and got the system running properly again. Professional service fair pricing and a job well done.

Humidity issues, in my fairly new home, have been going on for about a year now. Several companies have come out but only Joshua at AC Texas cooling and heating thought to check the fresh air intake filter. It was filthy because it most likely has never been cleaned. Even though I’ve had companies out servicing my AC every six months since I’ve moved in. He also put insulation behind my thermostat to help it read correctly, something else nobody thought of to do. I appreciate how quickly the company came out and how long Joshua stayed checking the AC unit thoroughly. So far, there is a difference in the humidity, I’m very hopeful he fixed the issue!

We have been with AC Texas for years and while they always do a great job, I was especially grateful to call today (on a hot June Saturday in Houston) when our upstairs units was not cooling, and speak to a live person in office only to have Joshua show up shortly after, and quickly diagnose and fix the issue. Joshua was extremely professional and was able to address our need and repair quickly.

Johnny was great. Wasn’t even scared of my dogs, too much😛. Made his way through the house to do a good check on everything, clarified a situation. I have been dealing with stupidly. Good explanation and clarity for me. He was quick and efficient. And of course, very friendly. Great experience.
